“Ring” has a feature that will allow for Law Enforcement to request assistance from our residents with videos to assist with investigations. This is important and has been useful in several cases. In order to be a part of this, you’ll need to enable a feature in your app. Again this just simply allows us to request for videos. You will get an alert that “Northern Regional Police Department” requests assistance, and you can choose to provide videos or not from your device. This DOES NOT grant us access to your devices. If this is something you would like to enable with for future cases, do the following steps.
1. Log in to your Ring App
2. Click the “Neighbors” tab located above
3. Click “Feed Settings”
4. Make sure “Safety and Security” is checked

For any deceased deer located on private property, we recommend contacting a professional deer removal service. The service utilized by the Northern Regional Police Department is LC Deer Disposal, which can be reached at 724-422-2889. Property owners are responsible for the cost of this service.
If a deceased deer is spotted on or near a roadway, we encourage citizens to contact the Northern Regional Police Department directly at 724-625-3157. Our officers will respond and coordinate the proper removal of the animal.
