Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General


Attorney General Joshua D. Shapiro is Pennsylvania’s highest law enforcement official. His office holds the responsibility of protecting and serving the various citizens and agencies within the Commonwealth. The Attorney General is served by a staff of several hundred prosecutors, attorneys, investigators, agents and support staff in offices across the state.

Allegheny County District Attorney


Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala, Jr. currently serves as the county’s top law enforcement official. His office accepts referrals from over 100 active police departments, including the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, the Allegheny County Police Department, and the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Department. His office also reviews all complaints filed by citizens.
