If you find yourself in a situation in which your vehicle has been impounded, you can retrieve it from the respective tow company. Please note that the following conditions must be met:
- A valid Driver’s License presented
- If you are not the owner or leaseholder, authorization of use must be provided by that individual/ organization.
- Not be under the influence of alcohol or any controlled substance.
Additionally, the following costs are applied to the vehicle and must be paid in cash at the time of the vehicle’s retrieval.
- TOW FEE: $175, paid directly to the towing service utilized.
- IMPOUND FEE: $75/ day, paid directly to the towing service utilized.
It is strongly encouraged that you reach out directly to the towing company utilized with any questions. If you are unsure of where your vehicle was towed, contact the Northern Regional Police Department at 724-625-3157 prior to retrieving your vehicle in order to ensure that the conditions noted above are met and that you will be able to successfully recover your vehicle.
