The Northern Regional Police Department provides assistance with vehicle lockouts. If you find yourself in a position where you have locked your keys inside of your vehicle and need assistance, please contact 911. The Allegheny County Dispatch processes Emergency & Non-Emergency calls in a similar manner and will dispatch resources accordingly. Please note that vehicle lockouts, with the exemption of emergency cases in which there is a risk of serious injury or death such as a child left in a parked car, is classified as a non-emergency call.
Additionally, the following conditions will need to be met before NRPD Officer will unlock your car:
- Proof of Ownership / Authorization of Use
- Completion & Signature on a Release from Liability Form
